Appointments
It is important to make an appointment with your doctor. Patients that do not have an appointment will be seen if possible. Patients that have an appointment will be given priority.
Contacting your doctor
Your doctor can be contacted during business hours. Messages will be taken and your call will be returned.
Confidentiality
Your health problem is your business alone. Your health records will only be released to a third party with your consent.
After Hours Care
After hours care is provided by the The Home Doctor Service on 137425.
Repeat Prescriptions
We strongly encourage you to have a review by your doctor when requiring repeat prescriptions. Your doctor may, however, provide a repeat prescription under exceptional circumstances.
Cancellations
If you are unable too keep your appointment, you will need to contact our office two hours prior to the scheduled appointment time to either cancel or re-schedule. Otherwise a standard consultation fee of $85.00 will be charged on weekdays and $100.00 on weekends.
Fees
- Please note that payment is required at time of appointment.
- We bulk bill children under the age of 16 on weekdays between the hours of 12.30 and 4.00pm.
- Standard consultation: $85.00
- Long consultation: $150.00
- Procedures: AMA rate
- Weekend standard consultations: $100.00
- Weekend long consultations: $200.00
- EFTPOS and credit card facilities are available (Amex is not accepted)
Referrals
Your doctor will help you determine the most appropriate specialist to look after your health care needs. Referrals cannot be backdated.
Results
Your doctor will notify you of significant abnormal results. Your doctor may organise a follow-up appointment to discuss results.
Reminders
Your doctor believes that preventative medicine is important. Reminders will be periodically sent out to remind you of important health checks.
Concerns and suggestions
Your medical centre wants to know how we can provide a better service. Please contact the Practice Manager to let us know how our service can be improved.
Medical certificates
Your doctor will need to see you in order to issue a medical certificate for medical conditions requiring time off work. Medical certificates cannot be backdated.
